Darshan Ahirrao.

Most people call me Darsh.

I’m a freelancer and AI engineer. I red-team models and pay attention to the things that don’t quite make sense yet.

I understand systems and the code behind them. I use AI tools to write the code, and I focus on how the pieces fit together and whether the result works.

I founded GrowthForgeAI, a custom AI development studio. Outside client work, I follow research, test strange model behavior, and build things to find out what’s possible.

Stay curious. Make your opinions earn their keep.

I think the real risk of abundant intelligence is borrowed ambition: getting exceptionally good at pursuing goals you never chose. A machine can help you build almost anything. It cannot decide what would make the work worth doing for you. That still takes taste, conviction, and contact with the world. I want better tools and harder questions. I want to build things I would care about even if nobody was watching.

Intelligence didn’t start with a chat box. I like tracing the ideas that got us here. A few points on a much longer line:

    Turing describes a universal computing machine.

  2. 1950
    “Can machines think?”

    Turing turns the question into the imitation game.

  3. 1956
    An ambition becomes a field

    The Dartmouth summer project puts AI on the research agenda.

  4. 2017
    Attention changes the architecture

    The Transformer arrives. A new chapter begins.

Now we get to build with it.
That’s the part I want to spend my time on.
